Effects of THCV: THCV vs. THC
Though its name only changes by one letter, THCV is not subordinate to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) — these two have their own unique origins, effects, and properties. They have similar molecular structures, with THCV having a shorter side chain.
However, THCV shouldn’t have psychoactive effect if it is microdosed and in moderate doses these effects should be milder, energizing, and result in a clear and focused mind, whereas THC, even in small doses, is strong, euphoric and significantly alters the perception of reality.
Except for its boost in energy and focus, THCV's key potential benefits include anxiety relief, regulation of blood sugar levels (which may help with diabetes) and appetite suppression — unlike THC, which can leave you searching for snacks like a hungry hippo 🦛.
