How can you add hemp protein to your routine?
Hemp protein is incredibly versatile, and how you use it depends on what your body craves! The easiest way to consume it is by mixing it in a shaker with water or (plant-based) milks or fruit and vegetable juices. You can mix it into your smoothie, add it to yogurt, porridge, cereals, or even use it in spreads or sauces. You can also use hemp protein for baking — just swap up to 30 % of the flour with hemp protein.
The amount of protein you need depends on your weight, diet and activity level. As a general rule, adults should aim for 1 - 1.5g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Protein powder shouldn't replace a healthy diet, but rather complement it.
Generally, one dose (scoop) should be 30g and can be consumed 1 - 5 times per day. If you are working out, we recommend using 1 dose before your workout and another 1 - 2 doses right after.
