What are CBD oils and drops?

CBD oils and drops are products made from cannabidiol (CBD), a natural compound found in the hemp plant. CBD oils and drops are often made by extracting CBD from the plant and mixing it with a carrier oil. The carrier oil is vegetable glycerin or vegetable oils such as MCT (coconut, palm oil), sunflower, olive, avocado or hemp seed oil. 

CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive compound from the cannabis plant. It has therapeutic potential, and is rumored to help fight inflammation, relieve pain, relieve migraines, relieve stress and anxiety, promote sleep, or contribute to skin health.

Types of CBD Oils and Drops

CBD oils and drops are classified according to their content of cannabinoids and other phytochemicals into:

• Full-spectrum CBD oil - contain all the cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes found in the cannabis plant, including small amounts of THC (usually less than 0.3%)
• Broad-spectrum CBD oil - also contains the full spectrum of cannabinoids and other natural components from the cannabis plant, but it is completely free of THC
• CBD oil isolate - contains only CBD and carrier oil; isolate is the purest possible form of CBD

CBD oil dosage
